Please keep in mind that this blog is written for my children. When I've gone the way of the dodo bird they will have this to read. HOMEMADE LEMONADE

Heat 1 cup sugar with 1 cup water in a saucepan until the sugar dissolves completely.

When the syrup is finished (sugar dissolved) let cool a bit then add to a pitcher.

Pour 1 cup lemon juice into the pitcher and 3 to 4 cups of cold water. Stir.

Refrigerate 30 minutes

To sweeten more add more sugar
To make less sweet add more lemon juice.

Serve with ice and/or sliced lemons.

Ahhh...summer.

Hi Shelly.
Refreshing view, just what we need here too, it´s almost 40º C. Plus it´s natural and cheap, much better than sodas that have lots of sugar. Cheers!

I sure do love homemade lemonade!

It's so hot here now, I can't wait to try this! Much healthier than all the sodas I've been drinking lately!

Thanks for sharing this! Adrian has been looking forward to making lemonade from scratch this summer. Now I don't have to look for a recipe!
