Yes, I am one of "those" people who begin shopping for Christmas in July. I usually have all of our Christmas shopping completed by Thanksgiving. It's something that I have come to enjoy because I get to really think about what I'm going to buy for my family and friends. I can also use spurts of money here and there throughout the months to achieve my gift giving goals.
This year, I think I found the perfect gift for the adults on my list. My favorite find so far is a blanket called the Cabin Cuddler." It's a blanket that is carried as a tote bag. When undone, it can be wrapped around a person like a comfy warm cacoon. The tip of it blows up easily to make a pillow and the bottom has a special pocket to keep feet nice and toasty!
Let me tell you, I want one for myself! I know my husband would like to have one for a travel blanket when his flights are delayed. There are times when he has to sit in the plane for hours and has nothing but their little, flat, cooty-pillow to lay his head on. This would at least give him something clean to lay his head on while he waits. My parents would use this when they watch television in the wintertime at their cabin. I can just see them now, all cuddled up, warm and napping in one.
OH! I just had an epiphany! What about women who have to work in offices? You know the office that is set to 60 degrees because all of the men are wearing suits and burning up all day. I remember those days! I would have given anything to have a blanket under my desk to cover my legs and keep my feet warm! This is PERFECT for a woman who has to use her coat or sweater to warm up every day at work.
Yep, I've found the perfect gift.; Warmth and Relaxation. I'm so excited! I'll keep making my list and checking it twice. :o) Merry Christmas. (don't worry, by the time Christmas gets here my parents and Brian will have forgotten I even posted about this. LOL)
