We bought some loft beds for Daxx and Kole. It helped to give them more floor space. I thought they would spend more time playing with their toys, but mostly they use their blankets to make forts all around the beds.
This isn't the prettiest their room has ever been but it is quite fun for them. I just can't believe they will be 5 in December.
I knew that the loft beds would make quite a bit more play room in their bedroom but what I didn't realize was that the beds themselves would be such great monkey bars. They climb on those like they are in a gymnasium.
I'm so happy to have these beds. Winter is here and we're stuck in the house most of the day so anything they can use to burn energy is certainly welcome here.
Next on our agenda is to paint their room. I may wait until spring for that. I know they will mark on the walls even after it is painted...so why rush? LOL
